Affiliate program

The Spacebrain affiliate program lets you earn commission when people you refer become paying Spacebrain customers. This page is for creators, consultants, agencies and customers who want to recommend Spacebrain. It explains how to join, how referrals are counted and where to track your results.

Before you begin

• You need a Spacebrain login. The affiliate portal lives inside your Spacebrain account.
• Read the affiliate program terms. You must agree to them to apply.
• To get paid, you will need to set a payout country and complete Stripe's identity and bank checks. See Affiliate payouts.

Where to find it

Open Affiliate in the main sidebar. It has these views:

Apply to the program

1. Open Affiliate. If you are not an affiliate yet, you see "You are not an affiliate yet."
2. Tick I agree to the affiliate program terms.
3. Choose Apply to the program.
4. If you see Activating access, wait a moment and refresh the page.

What you should see: the Affiliate portal with your referral link. In most cases your link is ready straight away. Spacebrain may review an application or ask for more verification, as the terms describe.

If you see Account inactive, your affiliate account is not active. Contact support if you think this is a mistake.

How referrals are counted

• When someone clicks your link, a referral is saved in their browser. The portal says: "Anyone who signs up within 60 days of clicking this link is attributed to you."
• The referral counts when they create a new Spacebrain account in the same browser within that window.
• Attribution does not move between browsers or devices, and cannot be added after the fact.
• Existing customers, your own accounts and agency sub-accounts billed through another account don't count.
• You earn when a referred signup becomes a paying customer, and on eligible renewals after that, as the terms describe.

A click or signup alone does not guarantee a commission.

Share responsibly

• Tell people you are an affiliate where the law or platform requires it.
• Describe Spacebrain accurately. Don't promise results, prices or features you can't confirm on the public site.
• Don't use spam, fake accounts, forced clicks, misleading claims or paid search ads on Spacebrain's brand name.

Breaking these rules can lead to reversed commissions or removal from the program.

Worked example: a marketing consultant

1. Jordan applies and gets a referral link right away.
2. Jordan writes a blog post comparing tools and uses the link builder to link to the Spacebrain pricing page.
3. A reader clicks the link, returns a week later in the same browser and signs up.
4. The signup appears in Referrals. When the reader starts paying, a commission appears in Commissions.
5. After the hold period ends, the commission shows as eligible and is paid out through Stripe.

If something goes wrong

• A referral is missing. Check that the person signed up with a new account, in the same browser, within 60 days of clicking. Don't ask them to sign up or pay again.
• "Could not load your referrals." Refresh the page. If it continues, contact support.
• A commission was reversed. The customer's payment may have been refunded, disputed or found ineligible.

FAQ

Can I refer myself or my own sub-accounts?

No. Self-referrals and agency sub-accounts billed through another account are not eligible.

How long do I have to wait for a referral to count?

New clicks usually show in your stats within a minute. Commissions appear after the referred customer's first payment.
