This guide covers spacebrain.ai, the public marketing website. The signed-in app has separate analytics preferences. This is a practical companion to our Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy.

The popup calls this category Essential. These records remember your decisions, including a refusal of optional tracking. You cannot turn them off using the category controls. Your browser can block or delete cookies, but then your saved choice may not persist.

Spacebrain can share these preference cookies across its subdomains so the advertising choice is available during signup. This does not enable analytics in the signed-in app. Account sign-in and security storage are outside this marketing-website inventory.

Analytics cookies

Analytics is optional. When you allow it, Google Analytics and PostHog help us understand page visits, navigation, interactions, and errors. These tools may process browser identifiers, page paths, timestamps, and device information. Website session recording is disabled.

Google Analytics uses cookie families such as _ga and _ga_*. PostHog uses identifiers and event state in cookies and local storage, including the ph_* family. Google Tag Manager delivers the Google tags.

For storage periods and provider references, see the Cookie Policy storage table. Cookie lifetimes can vary with provider configuration and browser limits; local storage does not have an automatic browser expiry.

Turning Analytics off stops future optional website analytics under that choice. It does not automatically erase data a provider has already received.

Advertisement cookies

The popup calls this category Advertising. It is optional and controls advertising measurement: understanding which campaigns and ad clicks lead to signup. Personalized advertising remains disabled.

With your permission, Spacebrain can store campaign details, a landing-page path, a referrer origin, and ad click identifiers when present. Google may receive an ad click identifier and signup confirmation to measure our ads. This measurement does not include your email address or workspace content.

Advertising and Analytics are separate choices. You can allow one and leave the other off. Turning Advertising off clears Spacebrain's first- and last-touch attribution cookies and stops future optional measurement under that choice. It does not automatically delete information previously received by Google.

No account or subscription is needed.

Visit spacebrain.ai and select Privacy settings in the footer. If the top notice is visible, you can select Manage cookies there instead.
Expand a category to read its explanation. Essential is always active; Analytics and Advertising have separate switches.
Select Save choices. Or select Reject optional to turn both optional categories off, or Accept all to allow both.

Reopen Privacy settings to check the saved switches. Your choices apply to the browser where you made them and are remembered for up to 180 days. Another device or browser may need a separate choice.

Why the notice may not appear

The top notice stays hidden after you save a valid choice. You can still reopen the controls from the footer. Clearing preference cookies or reaching their expiry may cause the notice to appear again.

If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, Spacebrain keeps optional website tracking off. The notice stays hidden and the optional switches are disabled while that signal is active.

Closing the notice with × only dismisses it for the current page. It does not accept optional cookies or save a new choice.

Common questions

Can I browse after rejecting optional cookies?

Yes. Rejecting optional tracking leaves essential website operation available.

Does accepting the terms also accept cookies?

No. Accepting the Terms of Service or acknowledging the Privacy Policy does not grant optional website tracking permission.

Are these the same as my app preferences?

No. The signed-in app's analytics preferences are separate. This popup controls the marketing website and the advertising permission carried into signup.

My choice is not being remembered. What should I check?

Check whether your browser blocks cookies, clears them on exit, or is using a private session. Also check whether Global Privacy Control is active. You can continue with optional tracking off. For help, contact support with your browser name and the control that did not behave as expected.
