Agency

Branding, domains, and rebilling

Configure white-label presentation, verify a custom domain, connect Stripe, and operate client charges and margins.

White-label branding

Use Agency → General for supported agency name, logo, links, email identity, subdomain, and attribution controls. Preview auth pages, dashboard, transactional email, public forms, and embedded widgets where applicable. Keep support, privacy, and terms destinations current.

Custom domains

Open Agency → Domain and enter the intended hostname, such as portal.example.com, rather than an unrelated production root unless the UI explicitly supports it. Add the exact DNS record shown by Spacebrain at the authoritative DNS provider.

DNS validation steps:

  1. Confirm the hostname and account ownership.
  2. Add the displayed record without proxying or flattening unless instructed.
  3. Wait for DNS propagation.
  4. Use the product verification action.
  5. Test HTTPS, sign-in, password reset, sub-account routing, public forms, and widgets.
  6. Keep the Spacebrain-provided subdomain as fallback.

Removing a verified domain stops the branded portal on that hostname; it does not automatically remove the DNS record. Coordinate rollback before deletion.

Connect Stripe for rebilling

Open Agency → Rebilling and complete the Stripe Connect onboarding shown by Spacebrain. The connection is ready only when the status confirms required capabilities, not merely when the browser returns from Stripe.

Use the Stripe dashboard for bank, identity, payout, tax, and provider-specific account work. Never send bank or identity documents to Spacebrain support unless an authorized secure process explicitly requests them.

Pricing tiers and features

Create tiers with a clear public name, description, monthly price, features, quotas, and usage markup. Preview the customer experience. Changing price can affect new sub-accounts differently from existing subscribers; read the effective-change explanation in the editor.

Do not deactivate a tier while subscribed sub-accounts still depend on it. Move them through an intentional migration.

Budgets, credits, and top-ups

Configure agency and per-sub-account credit caps according to expected usage and margin. Distinguish included allowance, soft warning, hard stop, and paid top-up. Test the client-facing price preview before enabling top-ups.

Revenue operations

Use Rebilling views for supported overview, revenue, activity, invoices, payouts, allocation, and margin evidence. Reconcile Spacebrain records with Stripe and the agency ledger. Manual invoices marked sent or paid in Spacebrain still require the agency’s real-world collection process.

Price and mode changes are consequential

Review the sub-account count, current subscribers, effective date, existing Stripe schedule, entitlements, tax treatment, and customer notice before saving a live rebilling change.
