First-run onboarding
Use, skip, or replay Spacebrain onboarding and understand what it changes.
New workspaces can open with a conversational onboarding screen. It is designed to identify a useful starting point, collect lightweight business context, and help create a first AI agent. The experience may vary by workspace type, plan, language, and rollout.
Use the onboarding conversation
- Choose one of the suggested starting points or describe the business outcome in your own words.
- Answer only with information you are comfortable using to configure the workspace.
- Review any proposed action before confirming it. Spacebrain does not create the proposed agent until you approve the action.
- If offered website analysis, verify the detected business details. Website content can be incomplete, outdated, or aimed at a different audience.
- After creation, open the new agent and review its configuration, knowledge, voice, actions, and boundaries before any external use.
The onboarding experience can mark onboarding complete and route you to the new agent. It does not replace production testing, provider connections, phone-number assignment, compliance review, or team approval.
Skip onboarding
Choose Skip when you need to inspect the workspace first or when another teammate will configure it. Skipping removes the first-run takeover; it does not delete product access or prevent manual setup.
If you skip, use this order:
- Settings → Workspace for identity and members.
- Integrations for the first provider connection.
- The relevant module to create a test object.
- The inbox, execution history, activity timeline, responses, or analytics view to confirm the result.
Guided tours
Spacebrain uses contextual spotlight tours in selected areas, including CRM and Inbox. A tour points to navigation and controls but should not modify records merely by advancing between steps. Where Replay tour is available, use it when training a teammate or after a substantial UI change.
Information to verify after onboarding
- Business name, website, language, and timezone.
- Agent purpose, greeting, prohibited claims, escalation conditions, and action permissions.
- Knowledge sources and their owners or review dates.
- Connected channels and sender identities.
- Workspace role and billing context.
Website analysis is a draft, not authority
Treat extracted website details as suggested configuration. Confirm prices, guarantees, legal terms, eligibility rules, operating hours, and emergency guidance against an owned source before letting an agent use them.
If onboarding cannot finish
Refresh once, then use Skip if the screen remains blocked. You can configure the workspace manually. When reporting the problem, include the approximate time, workspace name, browser, the last completed step, and a redacted screenshot. Never include passwords, authorization codes, or customer secrets.
