Landing pages and funnels

Build a landing page, a multi-step funnel or a quiz, starting from your goal, then embed forms, track conversions, publish and measure results.

Landing pages, funnels and quizzes are the pages you send people to from ads, emails and social posts. This guide shows you how to pick the right one, create it from your goal, add a form, publish it and see how it performs. It's for marketers and business owners who build pages in Spacebrain.

Choose the right tool

UseWhenExample
Landing pageOne page, one clear action."Download the free checklist"
FunnelVisitors go through several pages in order.Opt-in page → thank-you page → offer page → checkout
QuizYou ask a few questions and show a personal result."Which service is right for you?"

If one page would do the job, use a landing page. Every extra step loses some visitors.

Before you begin

  • Permission: you need editing permission to build and publish.
  • A published form, if you want to embed one. Only published forms can be embedded. See Forms.
  • Your Brand Kit, if you want templates to use your colours and fonts automatically.
  • Your own content: real photos, offers, prices and testimonials. Replace every placeholder before you publish.

Create a landing page

  1. Open Sites → Landing Pages and select New landing page, or Start with a template.
  2. Work through the steps: Brand, Style, Template and Review. You'll answer questions such as Whose page is this? and What's the job of this page?, and can pick up to three words for the feel. Select Not sure — show everything to see every template.
  3. On Ready to create, check your template and brand, enter the Landing page name and select Create my landing page. If you applied your brand to a designed template, the button reads Apply brand & continue.

To skip the steps, select Start blank.

Build the landing page

The editor has a palette on the left and page settings on the right.

  • Sections: add ready-made Preset sections, or a blank Section.
  • Single blocks: Heading, Text, Image, Visual, Video, Countdown, Button, Opt-in, Payment, Divider and Spacer. A page can have one Opt-in block. Payment needs an active payment link.
  • Connected blocks: Embed form and collection blocks that pull content from elsewhere in Spacebrain.

Build the structure with sections first, then add only the blocks that support your one action.

Page settings

Select Site on the right for settings that apply to the whole page:

  • Public link: copy the page's short URL with Copy short URL.
  • After submit: what happens when someone completes the opt-in.
    • Success message: what visitors see.
    • Conversion goal: what counts as a conversion in this page's analytics: Lead submitted, CTA clicked or Conversion event.
    • Redirect URL (optional): send visitors to another HTTPS page instead.
    • Select Save submit settings.
  • Search preview: the SEO title and SEO description shown in search results. Select Save search settings.

Embed a form

  1. In the palette, select Embed form.
  2. In Pick a form, choose a form. Only published forms are listed. If you have none, you'll see a message to create one in Forms, publish it and come back.
  3. With the block selected, you can set a Heading, choose Change form, and fill in If the form is unavailable, show with a short message.

Responses go to the form, and the form keeps its own thank-you settings.

Embedded forms must be published

When you publish a page or funnel, Spacebrain checks that every embedded form is still published and belongs to this workspace. If one isn't, publishing stops. Publish the form in Sites → Forms, or choose another form with Change form, then publish again.

If a form is later unpublished or archived, the live page shows your If the form is unavailable, show text instead.

Create a funnel from a goal

  1. Open Sites → Funnels and select New funnel. You can also choose Start with a template or Create with AI.

  2. Goal: under What should this funnel do?, choose what you want the funnel to achieve:

    GoalWhat it's for
Capture leadsA page that trades something useful for contact details.
Book appointmentsLet people request a time and confirm it themselves.
Quote a jobTake the details you need to price the work.
Deliver a lead magnetSend a guide, checklist or worksheet, then follow up.
Sell somethingCarry a visitor from the offer through to checkout.
Fill an eventCollect registrations for a session, class or dinner.
Run a launchBuild anticipation, then open the doors on a date.

Only goals that have templates are shown. You can then pick your industry, or select Not sure yet — show me everything. Your goal only sorts matching templates to the top; nothing is hidden.

  3. Design: under How should it look?, choose a style, Keep template design, or Use my brand if you have a Brand Kit.

  4. Template: under What is this journey for?, open a template to review it. Templates for your goal appear first.

  5. Review: on Ready to create, check the design, brand and template, and enter the Funnel name. Use the Live preview to check each step.

  6. Select Create my funnel (or Apply brand & continue). The funnel opens in the builder as a draft.

To skip the steps, select Start blank.

Create a funnel with AI

  1. Select Create with AI (or Generate with AI in the wizard).
  2. Under Describe the offer, fill in Business or offer, Audience, Primary goal and Primary call to action. Optionally add the Campaign type, Offer details, Verified proof points and Visual direction.
  3. Select Generate draft. You'll see the maximum credit cost in Confirm AI credit use before anything is charged.
  4. Choose one of the three design directions under Choose a visual direction and select Create funnel.

AI drafts are created unpublished and editable. Spacebrain won't invent testimonials, logos, ratings, scarcity or performance claims. Check every word before you publish.

Build the funnel

  • Journey: the list of steps. Select Add step to add one, or Duplicate step to copy one.
  • Step settings: set the Step name and Step URL slug. Name each step by its job, such as "Opt-in" or "Thank you".
  • Add content: sections such as Hero, Benefits, Testimonials, Pricing, FAQ and Guarantee, and blocks such as Heading, Paragraph, Image, Video, Button, Opt-in, Countdown and Checkout.
  • For buttons and forms, choose where the visitor goes next: Next step or a Specific step.

After reordering or deleting steps, check that every button still goes to the right place.

Build a quiz

Open Sites → Quizzes and select New quiz. Choose your brand under Start with your brand, pick a template, and select Create my quiz. Quizzes use the funnel builder, with question and result steps.

For each result, Outcome follow-up lets you select Automate this outcome. It opens a new automation, already matched to that result, in a new tab. Add the tags, emails, texts or booking link you want, then test and publish it. See Build an automation in the editor.

Track conversions

Select Conversions in the landing page editor or funnel builder to add your Meta Pixel. In a funnel, each step has its own settings. See Track conversions with Meta Pixel.

Publish

Landing pages

Select Publish. After the page is live, the button shows Published until you make changes, then Update. Visitors see the published version until you publish again.

Funnels and quizzes

  1. Select Publish. The Review and publish window opens.
  2. Use the guided test to open each step in order.
  3. Fix anything marked Needs attention. Select Fix to jump to the problem. Items marked Recommended are optional.
  4. Select Publish Funnel (or Publish Quiz). For a live funnel, the button reads Publish new version.

Publishing stays unavailable until every required check passes.

After publishing, open the live page in a private browser window. Check the address, links, forms, checkout and mobile layout.

Check leads and analytics

From the editor's menu, open Leads or Analytics.

  • Leads (landing pages) shows captured contacts with their CRM status (Synced, Not added or Needs email) and consent. Select Add to CRM list to add them to a list. Check the count and consent before you do.
  • Analytics (landing pages) shows the last 7, 30 or 90 days in UTC: Unique visitors, Page views, CTA clicks, Leads, Goal conversions and Conversion rate, plus a Conversion journey and engagement for visitors who accepted tracking.
  • Funnels show how visitors move through each step, so you can see where they drop off.

Leave time for data to arrive before comparing changes.

Worked example: a lead magnet funnel

  1. Select New funnel and choose Deliver a lead magnet.
  2. Pick your industry, then Use my brand.
  3. Choose a template with an opt-in step and a thank-you step, and select Create my funnel.
  4. Replace the placeholder guide title, image and copy with your own.
  5. Select Conversions, paste your Pixel ID, and send Lead when the opt-in step's submission succeeds.
  6. Build an automation with the Funnel Opt-in trigger that emails the guide.
  7. Publish, then complete the funnel yourself in a private window and check the lead, the email and the Meta event.

FAQ

Should I start from a template or a blank page?

Use a template when its goal matches yours, then replace every placeholder. Start blank when you'd spend longer removing things than adding them.

No. Say clearly what people are signing up for. Keep permission for marketing separate from the details you need to answer their request.

Why did leads go up but sales didn't?

Check lead quality, duplicate submissions, what counts as a conversion, and whether follow-up automations ran. A lead is only the first step.

Next step

Plan your journey with the landing page and funnel journey starter, then set up conversion tracking.
