Getting started
A practical path from first sign-in to a safe, measurable first Spacebrain workflow.
Spacebrain combines customer records, conversations, AI agents, automations, publishing, analytics, and agency operations in one workspace. You do not need to configure every module on day one. Start with one customer outcome and connect only the data and channels required to prove it.
Before you begin
Have the following ready:
- The business name, website, timezone, and primary contact information.
- An owner for workspace administration and an owner for the first workflow.
- Administrator access to any provider you plan to connect, such as an email, messaging, social, search, calendar, or webinar account.
- A few internal test contacts whose owners consent to receiving test messages or calls.
- Approved descriptions of the business, its services, pricing boundaries, policies, and escalation contacts.
If an agency created the workspace, first confirm whether you are operating the agency workspace or a client sub-account. Connections, billing, records, and usage belong to the active workspace.
The recommended first 30 minutes
- Complete the first-run onboarding or choose Skip if you prefer to configure manually.
- Open Settings → General and confirm your own profile.
- Open Settings → Workspace and verify the active workspace and team.
- Open Integrations and connect one provider required for your first use case.
- Add one internal contact or a small test file to the CRM.
- Build the smallest useful workflow: receive one message, test one agent, run one automation, or publish one private page.
- Inspect the resulting conversation, record activity, workflow execution, lead, or report.
Choose one first win
A good first win is observable end to end: a test form creates a lead, a connected inbox receives and replies to a message, or a test agent answers from approved knowledge and records the outcome.
Understand the workspace model
Your account is your identity. A workspace is the tenant that owns customer records, connected providers, agents, workflows, content, settings, usage, and billing context. Some accounts can switch between multiple workspaces or agency-managed sub-accounts.
Before any import, connection, launch, or billing change, verify the workspace shown in the application. Moving data between workspaces is not the same as switching views and may require an export, a new import, or support assistance.
What to configure now and later
Configure now:
- Workspace identity, timezone, and responsible teammates.
- The minimum provider connections for the first workflow.
- Consent, sender identity, handoff, and stop conditions.
- Test records and a monitoring owner.
Configure after the first workflow succeeds:
- Additional channels, bulk data imports, advanced scoring, and multi-step automations.
- Reusable templates, reporting, SEO and social programs, agency rebilling, or custom domains.
- Production audiences and larger campaigns.
Completion criteria
Onboarding is complete when a teammate can explain what starts the workflow, which systems it touches, who receives or reviews the result, how a person can stop or take over, and where failures appear. Continue with the onboarding walkthrough, workspace and team setup, and first-launch checklist.
